Geography
The Republic of South Africa is a country located at the southern tip of the African continent. It borders the countries of Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Swaziland. Lesotho is an enclave entirely surrounded by South African territory.
Grahamstown is located in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. A few interesting (but tragic) facts on the Eastern Cape province;
- it has the highest unemployment figures in South Africa
- it has the highest HIV infection rates
- it has the lowest literacy rates
